FLEET LANDING COVID-19 UPDATE 8.19.2020

Fleet Landing continues our bi-weekly testing initiatives for team members working in Derfer Pavilion, Leeward Manor, and Nancy House. Since our last update, we identified two new cases of COVID-19 in team members working in the culinary department in Leeward Manor. Contact tracing has been completed and the team members are isolating at home per CDC guidelines. Fortunately, there have been no additional positive cases identified in Residents or team members of Derfer Pavilion and Nancy House. Three Residents continue to reside in the designated COVID isolation unit in the Derfer Pavilion.

Thank you for the questions we have received regarding the Governor’s Task Force to Explore the Safe and Limited Re-Opening of Long Term Care Facilities. We too are looking forward to the opportunity to have in-person visits safely. Our team is closely monitoring the Task Force and will be sharing updates as more information becomes available.
