Visit Fleet Landing at Nocatee

COVID-19 Update 11.18.2020

Our nation, state, and local community continue to see a resurgence of COVID-19 cases.  We are now seeing that impact to our Fleet Landing campus with additional positive cases in our Independent Living neighborhood. As a result of the increase in positivity rate in our local area and new cases on campus, we are making operational changes to protect the safety and well-being of our Residents and team members. These changes include cancelling previously scheduled group events and in-person dining.  There are no changes to our visitation policies.

As a reminder, Fleet Landing follows all CDC recommendations for infection control and prevention. Our ongoing measures include screening of all visitors and team members upon entry to the community for signs and symptoms of the coronavirus and exposure, wearing of appropriate PPE in our health services settings and masks throughout our campus, electrostatic cleaning of high touch common areas, and testing initiatives.  Fortunately, through our measures, Fleet Landing’s positivity rate remains below 1percent.

While we all certainly recognize that this holiday season will be like no other, our team is working hard to ensure that this time is still special.  Our culinary team has planned an expansive, delicious menu for Thanksgiving and our Wellness and Activity teams have plans in place for meaningful engagement opportunities.  We encourage everyone to ensure a safe Holiday season by following guidance from the CDC, which can be found here:  https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/holidays.html
